CHIPS

The CHIPS collection, designed by Lucie Koldová, offers a unique blend of modern lounge furniture and ergonomic design, ideal for hotels, cafés, lounges, and waiting rooms. This luxury seating solution features a visually striking, oversized backrest crafted from perforated fabric and framed by manually bent wood, creating a harmonious interplay between the chair and its surroundings. The design is characterized by gentle curves and a distinctive, inviting presence. The backrest, reminiscent of a potato chip, contrasts with the robust seat supported by molded plywood, ensuring both style and durability. Enhanced comfort is provided by a removable back pillow. The production process involves a meticulous manual wood-bending technique, starting with steaming beechwood, shaping it in metal molds, and finishing with sanding, staining, and varnishing. This method has been a tradition in Bystřice pod Hostýnem since 1861, offering customizable sofa designs and compact furniture solutions for small spaces.
