The SILLA40 fabric chair, designed by Isaac Piñeiro from Nadadora, marks Sancal’s 40th anniversary with a unique concept. This collection features four distinct backs, each reflecting a pivotal era in furniture design, while maintaining a consistent structure. The R20 back draws inspiration from Marcel Breuer’s Cesca chair, the R30 nods to Scandinavian design and Alvar Aalto’s 69 chair, the R40 celebrates the organic forms of the mid-20th century, and the R70 embodies postmodern influences akin to Ettore Sottsass’s Synthesis45. Ideal for dining tables, cafés, and conference rooms, this chair offers durable seating with an upholstered seat and back, ash feet and arms, and customizable fabric options. Its ergonomic design and stackable feature make it a versatile choice for modern design tables and conference room furniture. The chair is available with either solid ash or lacquered steel legs, ensuring adaptability to various settings.
