The SILLA40 Chair, designed by Isaac Piñeiro of Nadadora, marks Sancal’s 40th anniversary with a unique blend of historical and modern design elements. This versatile seating solution is ideal for dining tables, café settings, and conference room furniture. Each chair in the collection shares a consistent structure, with variations in the backrest inspired by iconic moments in furniture design history. The R20 back draws from Marcel Breuer’s Cesca chair, while the R30 nods to Alvar Aalto’s Scandinavian style. The R40 celebrates the organic forms of Charles Eames, and the R70 reflects postmodern influences akin to Ettore Sottsass. Featuring an upholstered seat and back, the chair is supported by ash or metal feet, with customizable finishes and fabrics. Its ergonomic and stackable design ensures durable seating for restaurants, coworking spaces, and educational institutions.
